We’ve undergone extensive renovations that feature a large reception area, new large animal space, bright and spacious dedicated boarding area, and new small animal hospital wards.
Our Clinic
Our multi-veterinarian mixed animal practice is situated on 5 acres just north of Fort St. John city limits. The clinic is designed to provide veterinary care to pets, horses & livestock.
Exam Rooms
We have four examination rooms that are available for personalized private consultation with our veterinary care team. These rooms serve as sites for patient assessment and venues for client consultations.
Laboratory
The laboratory is equipped with equipment to process blood, urine and other laboratory samples. Our “in-clinic” IDEXX equipment provides results quickly.
Small Animal Surgery
Surgeries are performed daily in this suite including spays, neuters, abdominal exploratories, fracture repairs, and mass removals.
Horse Stall & Stocks
The horse stall is located in the new large animal area. The stocks provide a safe environment for examinations, wound repairs and dental floats.
Isolation
The isolation ward is located at the perimeter of the practice with a separate exterior entrance and is designed to limit exposure of animals to potentially infectious diseases.
ICU Kennels
Our new ICU kennels have glass fronts facing our main treatment/surgery prep area to allow for constant monitoring, and feature thermostat-controlled in-floor heating to help surgical and intensive care patients maintain a proper body temperature.
Comfort Room
Our new comfort room is a calming environment for acupuncture sessions and for saying goodbye to four-legged family members. It features plenty of adjustable seating so that everyone involved can be as comfortable as possible.
Reception
The newly expanded and renovated reception area welcomes you to our practice. Enjoy the light filled space and the cozy fireplace while you enjoy a refreshment from our coffee bar.
Imaging
The imaging room is equipped with x-ray equipment, a digital processor and ultrasound machines. Images can be viewed by veterinarians and clients at computer stations within the practice.
Hospital Wards
We have 2 new wards customized to patients for their size and care requirements. The Dog Ward is equipped with cages and runs. The Quiet Ward houses cats and small intensive care patients.
Treatment & Surgery Prep
The treatment room is the hub of the clinic and the site of daily staff rounds. This is the transition zone between the exam rooms and the rest of the clinic.
Cattle Facility
Our expanded cattle handling facility includes multiple outdoor pens, a large squeeze and a maternity pen. The expanded facility provides options for different procedures.
Call Vehicle
The clinic call vehicle is stocked with equipment and supplies to provide veterinary care to large animals on the farm or acreage. This vehicle is available for individual animal care and herd visits.
Dental Suite
Our new small animal dental suite features a digital dental x-ray machine.
